Nico
Owner and Head Coach at False Bay Fitness. With a degree in Sport Science, 17 years as a Personal Trainer, and over 13 years of CrossFit coaching experience, I'm passionate about helping people move better, get stronger, and achieve goals they never thought possible.
Through personal training, I focus on strength and conditioning, helping everyday adults build strength, stay mobile, and train with confidence as life gets busier and bodies change. Alongside coaching, I love growing the False Bay Fitness community with my wife, Joss, and creating a space where people of all ages and fitness levels feel challenged, supported, and excited to train.
-

Mel
Biokineticist and Coach at False Bay Fitness with a passion for helping people become the healthiest, strongest version of themselves. I love working with people of all ages to overcome injuries, improve mobility and build confidence through movement.
Whether you're recovering from an injury, returning to exercise, or looking to move more comfortably in everyday life, I'm here to support you with a personalised approach that meets you where you are. My goal is to help you enjoy moving again and give you the confidence to keep doing what you love.

Morné
Coach and Personal Trainer at False Bay Fitness since 2020. I have a passion for strength training and enjoy helping people become stronger, more capable, and more confident through consistent, purposeful training.
With years of experience as a strength and conditioning coach for rugby players and teams, I bring a performance-focused approach to coaching while helping each person build the skills, resilience, and mindset needed to reach their goals. I also handle our more technical coaching in weightlifting and gymnastics, breaking down movement so members can train these skills safely and with good form.
-

Jason
Coach and Personal Trainer at False Bay Fitness with over 17 years of experience in the health and fitness industry. I specialise in helping people in their 30s and 40s navigate changing fitness goals, build strength and feel confident in their bodies.
My approach is practical, supportive and built around creating sustainable habits that fit into real life, making training something you can enjoy for years to come.
-

Riley
Coach and long-time member of False Bay Fitness. With a CrossFit Level 1 certification, over 14 years of Kung Fu experience and a lifelong passion for fitness, I love helping people discover what they're capable of.
As a masters athlete, I understand the importance of training for longevity. My goal is to create a positive, motivating environment where members can challenge themselves, build confidence, and continue making progress for years to come.
-

Taluks
Coach at False Bay Fitness and an active competitive athlete with over two years of professional coaching experience. I'm a qualified gymnastics coach, and I bring the discipline, consistency, and passion I've developed through competing into every coaching session.
Alongside coaching adults, I lead our kids' classes, creating a fun and encouraging environment where young athletes can build confidence, learn new skills, and develop a lifelong love for movement.
-

Melanie
Physiotherapist and Coach at False Bay Fitness with over 15 years of clinical experience. In 2024, I completed my CrossFit Level 1 Trainer certification, allowing me to combine my physiotherapy background with functional fitness coaching to better support people in and out of the gym.
I enjoy helping people move with confidence, whether they're recovering from an injury, managing pain, or working towards new fitness goals. My approach combines hands-on treatment, tailored exercise, and practical guidance to help you build strength, improve movement, and feel your best for the long term.
-

Amy
Personal Trainer and Coach at False Bay Fitness with a background as a professional mountain biker and over 12 years of elite athletic experience. I'm also a trail runner and CrossFitter, so endurance and strength training are a big part of who I am, both on and off the gym floor.
I believe training should fit into your life, not the other way around. Whether you're returning to fitness, building confidence, or working towards a new challenge, my goal is to create structured, enjoyable training that helps you achieve lasting results.
-

Andrea
Sports Massage Therapist and Personal Trainer at False Bay Fitness. As both a runner and someone who loves exploring new ways to train, I'm passionate about helping people move well, recover better, and enjoy the journey.
Through my work with Moyo Fit and at False Bay Fitness, I aim to create a supportive space where people can build confidence, improve their wellbeing and become stronger one step at a time. If you see me around the gym, don't be shy to come and say hello!
-

Joss
Pilates Instructor and the friendly face behind much of the day-to-day running at False Bay Fitness. From welcoming new members and managing memberships to handling the admin and finances, I help keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
As Nico's wife and mum to our three kids, who you'll often see around the gym, False Bay Fitness is more than just a workplace, it's home. I love being part of a community where people feel welcomed, supported, and encouraged, whether they're joining their first class or have been training with us for years.
